Belfairs, Eastwood and Two Tree Island are the quieter ends. Old Leigh is cockle sheds and cameras on yellow lines.
If you are in Old Leigh, move up to a surface car park. The cobbles are a poor jacking surface.
Broadway traffic is the time cost. The drive from Grays is the A13; the last mile is the crawl.
