Puncture repair
Finding the hole takes longer than sealing it.
A nail in a car park is a short job if the damage is in the tread and the sidewall is clean. A cut on the shoulder, or a tyre that has been driven flat, is a replacement rather than a repair.
The van carries plugs and a compressor. If the tyre will not take a safe repair, the time goes into fitting a new one on the same visit rather than leaving you with a warning light and a limp.
